Application Requirements
A completed PCAplus application consists of the following:
- Copies of previous school records including all educational diagnostic testing, standardized test scores from last year (if taken), grades from last year or a transcript for grades 8-12
- Pastor recommendation form, Student Record Release (if student has been in school in last three years), Math Teacher Recommendation and English Teacher Recommendation if from co-op teacher
- Copy of birth certificate
- Health records: Immunization records must be submitted with application for students applying to attend on-campus classes
- $100 application fee
- Parent Questionnaire
- If divorced, the most recent copy of all court documents signed by a judge and notarized regarding custody and educational decisions
- Statement of cooperation signed from the online Student Handbook
Admissions Testing
Testing will be scheduled by the PCAplus Admissions Office after the receipt of all required Admissions forms. PCAplus accepts the Independent Student Entrance Exam (ISEE) scores for students in grades 5-12 who have taken that test at any location. For students not taking the ISEE, PCAplus will administer the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). If the student has taken the SAT within the last six months, please notify the PCAplus Admissions Office.
Parent Interview
An interview appointment is made with the parents, applicants for grades 5-12 and a school administrator once testing is scheduled. This interview is an opportunity for philosophical compatibility discussions, a question and answer session, and a time to assess whether the PCAplus program meets a students' needs.
Acceptance
Official acceptance (or non-acceptance) is communicated to all families in writing. Only a PCAplus Contract signed by Prestonwood Christian Academy guarantees acceptance for your child. Acceptance for select Advanced Placement classes and preliminary acceptance for other classes is communicated in May. Final decisions for core or elective classes based upon space will be communicated in July. PCAplus applications are accepted year-round.
Costs and Fees
Fees
Application Fee: A fee of $100 per child is charged for students applying to PCAplus.
Testing Fee: A $50 testing fee is required for any student needing to take the Math and Reading portions of the Stanford or the ISEE test (given only in February).
There is also a $25 fee for each test required for Advanced Placement courses, portfolio requirements and/or auditions.
Campus Fee: A $100 fee for services on campus.
Specific Course Fee: Some classes may require additional fees grades 9-12.
Costs
Co-curricular cost: Participation in PCAplus co-curricular activities is $75 per semester. This would include, but not limited to participating in chapel, honor choir, and/or drama productions.
Course cost: Any student taking a course through PCAplus pays $300 per semester per course. Students taking a full-year course pay $600.
PCAplus students can only take up to three courses on campus.
Payment of Costs and Fees
Costs and fees may be paid in full or in five equal payments from August to December for first semester classes and five equal payments from January to May for second semester through the FACTS automatic debit system.

Advanced Placement: There is an additional $100 fee for all Advanced Placement courses.
Books: Some online courses require the purchase of specific books. These books are made available through an online provider (Click Here for Book Provider).
Payment of Costs and Fees
Parents or guardians may choose to pay the costs and fees in full or in equal payments for online classes. However, tuition must be paid in full before classes can begin.
