ENGLISH NOVEL REQUIRED READING
English summer reading novels required for students entering 5th through 8th grade are available for purchase starting June 1 by clicking here. You may purchase the text elsewhere but it must be the exact ISBN number/version as the one listed on the virtual bookstore.  No other version will be accepted.

SUMMER READING REQUIREMENTS
The Language Arts Department at PCA requires each student to read a specific novel over the summer. In addition, 5th/6th grade students will read a book of choice and 7th/8th grade will read a biography. The Language Arts teachers have prepared assignments relating to these books to assist students with comprehension and thematic focus. Students will be expected to bring their completed assignments and their books on the first day of class. PCA requires a specific version of the required novel in order to simplify classroom discussions and notations.
