COMPETITIONS
- FPS
Those involved in the course compete in the Texas State FPS program and have the opportunity to advance to state bowl finals as well as international competition.

- TAPPS Academic Competitions
- Contact Person: Wendy Krauss
- Students compete in the following areas: ready writing, persuasive speaking, science, current events and issues, solo acting, spelling, duet acting, literary criticism, history, Spanish, yearbook, newspaper, number sense, calculator, mathematics and advanced math.
- Students interested in competing should contact Mrs. Krauss or the department head in the subject area for which they are interested.
- Students meet with a coach during activity period to prepare.
- District competition is in February and state competition is in April
