Admissions Testing

Testing will be scheduled by the Admissions Office after the receipt of all required Admissions forms. PCA accepts the Independent Student Entrance Exam (ISEE) scores for students in grades 5-12 who have taken that test at any location. For students not taking the ISEE, PCA will administer the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). If the student has taken the SAT within the last six months, please notify the Admissions Office. Testing for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants is scheduled on an individual basis.

Testing dates for the ISEE are Saturday, January 13, 2007, and Saturday, February 24, 2007. For the SAT, testing dates are Saturday, January 27, 2007, and Saturday, February 10, 2007. Registration for the both test begins at 8:00 a.m., and testing begins at 8:30 a.m. All testing is held in our Lower School building located at 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas. Please call 972-930-4010 for a reservation.

An interview appointment is made with the parents and a school administrator once testing is scheduled. This interview is an opportunity for philosophical compatibility discussions, a question and answer session, and a time to assess whether PCA program meets a students needs. If testing is complete and results are available, scores will also be reviewed during the interview. Students entering 5th - 12th grade are asked to accompany their parents for the interview.

Official acceptance (or non acceptance) will be communicated to all families in writing. Only a signed Contract of Enrollment guarantees enrollment for your child.
