TAPPS 5A BOYS BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONS
PCA Boys basketball team brought home the schools fourth championship this season. In dethroning the defending TAPPS 5A State Champions, Trinity Christian Academy, 50-45, the Lions won the first basketball State Championship in school's history. As it appeared the Trojans were to run away with the game in the third, it was PCA’s defense that allowed the Lions to overcome a 14 point deficit to reign victorious.
Zach Peters, Julius Randle and Jason Pospichal were named to the State Playoff All-Tournament Team.
