VARSITY SOFTBALL NEWS
PCA SOFTBALL PLAYOFFS: Congratulations to PCA’s softball team whose season ended on Thursday in their playoff loss to St. Agnus, 8-1. As the fifth seed, they played hard and put together a great season.
All District and All State honors will be announced next week. Way to go girls!
PCA SOFTBALL CLASSIC: The 2010 PCA Softball Classic on Feb. 18 was hosted by Head Coach Jody Garcia and the Lady Lions Softball Team. 16 teams from across the Metroplex both public and private schools participated with approximately 400 fans and players roaming our campus!
Freshman pitchers Gabby Hughes (2-0) and Hannah Winters (3-1) with the help of leading hitters Senior Megan Moffitt and Junior Kati Beth King, the Lady Lions went undefeated 5-0 into the Championship game against public 4A Little Elm High School where they finished in 2nd place.
District play began Tuesday, March 2 at Bishop Lynch and will continue till our last District home game which is a doubleheader against Bishop Dunn, April 15 starting at 4:30 p.m. We will end our regular season that night recognizing our senior players. Come on out and support your Lady Lions Softball Team!
