Make plans to join us next school year, mark your calendars as we will host another great Biblical Worldview Institute November 9-10, 2017.
You will want to “Save the Date” for the upcoming 2017 Biblical Worldview Institute on Thursday, November 9 and Friday, November 10. The theme for this fall’s BWi is ENGAGE and speakers will be challenging and equipping students to make a difference in the world for the Kingdom! The following speakers are already confirmed for the November dates:
John Stonestreet, President, The Colson Center for Christian Worldview. John is one of our student favorites and we are thrilled that he and Brett Kunkle will be with us in November. The two recently released a book titled A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World. Students will learn not only why they need to be engaged in the cultural chaos, but how to best stand for truth.
Brett Kunkle, Student Impact Director at Stand to Reason. Brett is a well-known Christian apologist and sought-after speaker for students across the globe.
Dr. Carol Swain, professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Swain has some important advice for students who wish to stand for truth in today’s cultural crisis.
Grant Skeldon, Founder of Initiative Network. Who better to speak to and challenge this generation than a millennial who has started a ministry to millennials! Grant has traveled across the globe speaking to over 26,670 pastors, parents and business leaders on the topic of engaging and empowering millennials.
Ben Schettler, Founder and President of Ask or Think Ministries. Ben will help our students navigate the changing social and political climate with a Biblical worldview. Ben is a nationally-recognized speaker, consultant and has now taken his talents into the world of television production!
Remember that this event also includes a Christian College Fair where your students will have the opportunity to learn about and interact with some of the best Christian colleges and universities in the country. All presentations will be held in the Worship Center at Prestonwood Baptist Church both mornings from 8:00 am until noon. You and your students will have Thursday afternoon and evening for various debrief opportunities or time in Dallas for different activities.
