General Information
LUNCH
Students who will be on campus during lunchtime must bring a lunch and drink each day. Refrigeration is not offered for student lunches. In addition, older students may choose to eat lunches at Main Street Café at Prestonwood if lunchtime does not infringe into the course offering.
DRESS CODE

The dress code for Summers at Prestonwood is casual, but conservative. Summers at Prestonwood personnel reserve the right to dismiss any student for inappropriate dress.

T-SHIRTS

Each student or camper will receive a t-shirt for the camps that provide tshirts. Please list your student’s t-shirt size on the registration form when registering online.

HOLIDAY

In observance of Independence Day, Summers at Prestonwood will not be held on Tuesday, July 4, 2008 (unless otherwise noted in specific course description).

The Summers at Prestonwood is located at 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093 at the Upper School Campus. For questions relating to our summer program, please contact LaTrease Lindley at 972-820-5063.

 

Fees
COURSE FEE

Course fee is due at the time of online enrollment. Summers at Prestonwood accepts credit cards (MasterCard, Visa and American Express) for course fee payments.

LATE FEE

Register before May 15, 2008 to receive Early Bird pricing (listed). On May 15, a late fee of $25 will be assessed on each registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The course fee must be paid in full with each online registration. The student will receive a full refund for the cost of the course fee when withdrawing from a course program offering on or before May 31, 2008. All requests for cancellations must be e-mailed to llindley@prestonwoodchristian.org. No refunds will be made for requests after May 31, 2008 for students who are dismissed from a course or camp for disciplinary reasons.

CAMPUS POLICY

There is no provision made for the supervision of students who are not in a class or camp. All students must be enrolled in a program while on campus (unless students are conducting other official business while on the Prestonwood campus).

CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL

Prestonwood Christian Academy reserves the right to cancel any program for which there is insufficient enrollment. The course fee will be refunded in these instances. This application is made with the understanding that Prestonwood Christian Academy reserves the right to request withdrawal of any student whose conduct, influence, attendance or progress is regarded as undesirable or unsatisfactory, or who fails to conform to rules and regulations. Dismissal, suspension, probation or request for withdrawal may occur without specific charges. No refund will be made to any student who withdraws or is dismissed from Summers at Prestonwood after the program has begun.

Welcome to Summers at Prestonwood!

We are pleased to offer a growing selection of summer programs for your student. A creative, supportive learning environment provides the setting for planned programs in academics, arts, enrichment and athletics. Our programs are designed so that you can customize your student’s summer schedule to meet their specific interest and needs. The 140-acre campus of Prestonwood is conveniently located in west Plano with easy access to all parts of North Dallas and the northern suburbs. Within minutes of the Dallas North Tollway and Bush Turnpike, our campus is alive with learning and play!

Summers at Prestonwood faculty includes experienced educators, professional specialty instructors and counselors who work together to provide a memorable experience for all. I hope to see you at Prestonwood this summer!
