PCA’s Pitcher/Catcher Camp is led by Mike Maack, head coach of the PCA Varsity Baseball team. This camp will focus totally on teaching the proper fundamentals of pitching and catching. Drills will be introduced to help each player improve and advance in their chosen position. A t-shirt will be given to all campers. Camp will end at noon each day.

The PCA Lady Lions Basketball Camp will be directed by Joel Roach, head coach of the PCA Lady Lions Varsity Basketball team. This camp will focus on teaching the proper fundamentals of shooting, passing and ball handling. Drills will be introduced to help each player improve and advance in their chosen position. Other coaches and students will assist. Fee includes a gold practice undershirt, a camp T-shirt and an Adidas Sackpack.

Are you ready for some football? Sign up now and make “Lion Power Football” a part of your summer plans. Our camp is a great opportunity for a young athlete of any experience level in football to learn and improve the fundamental techniques and skills that will help make them the best player they can possibly be. Every participant will learn skills specific to each position and have a chance to learn more advanced techniques at one offensive and one defensive position of their choice. Students will be introduced through a fun-packed program of karate and martial arts. The camp safely introduces students to the martial arts and also polishes and expands the skills of those with previous experience. If your son or daughter has wanted to try martial arts, this would be the perfect opportunity to train with a experienced 5th degree black belt instructor. Uniform available for $25 from the instructor on the first day of camp. The uniform is not a requirement.

This summer, Sky Ranch Christian Camps is bringing all the fun, discovery, and growth of a week of day camp to Prestonwood. Our staff of trained Christian counselors will interact with your child in a week of purposeful play. Each day will include six separate activities to provide a variety of new experiences for your child. Giant water slides, crazy sports with a camp twist, arts and crafts, team-building games, Bible exploration, and tons of creative fun will leave your child begging for a camp experience all summer long. Camps will meet in PCA Field House on the first day of camp.

EXTREME SPORTS Do you like playing football? Baseball? Basketball? Soccer? Track? Volleyball? This camp will be a ton of FUN! Students will be taught great skills in each sport as well as having a great time competing against other students. The camp will utilize the athletic facilities at Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Temple Builders is designed to help athletes maintain their bodies through physical exercise, gain more strength through proper lifting techniques, develop more speed and agility and develop more confidence in their God-given abilities. Temple Builders is led by PCA strength/football/track coaches. The fee covers both sessions. A t-shirt will be provided to each student at the beginning of the camp.

Tennis Summer Camp with Coach Donna K. Smith will be second to none at the Cooper Aerobic Center at Craig Ranch in McKinney. Students are taught stroke production and basic fundamentals and fun. Intermediate students advance levels because of court experiences that teach heart-to-the-finish competition. Advanced students raise their game due to intense conditioning and match play. Students become decisive on and off the court, as Christ is conveyed as the prize. Players develop strokes and tactics that win. Everyone receives weekly awards, plenty of exercise and making new friends! Craig Ranch is located at 7910 Collin McKinney Parkway, McKinney, Texas.
