Meet Our Staff

Jodi joined our office in June 2017. She feels thankful to join the PCA family. She has been serving as a College Counselor, Registrar, and Assistant High School Principal for the previous ten years at a sister Christian school. Prior to entering service in the secondary school, she worked at Collin College for six years specializing in assisting college readiness for the county in addition to college orientation and dual credit programs. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, minor in Religion at Austin College followed by a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration at Dallas Baptist University. Jodi is married to Paul and they have two Lions, Gavin, Class of 2023 and Charis, Class of 2025.

Dr. Ron W. Moss has been involved in the counseling, admission and enrollment management profession for more than forty years. Nine years ago, upon completing his eighteenth year at Southern Methodist University as Dean of Admission and Executive Director of Enrollment Services, he began a new chapter in his educational career as the Director of Guidance and College Placement at Prestonwood Christian Academy. Prior to coming to SMU, Dr. Moss served as Director of Admission at Rice University for twelve years. Dr. Moss has been married to Deb for 36 years, they have two sons, John and Ben and two grandsons, Lincoln and Landon.

A seasoned professional of 16 years in the field of College Counseling, Toni joined PCA in 2020 and serves as the Assoc. Director of Academic and College Advising. She has worked in education for more than 20 years and is passionate about assisting students in fulfilling God’s plan for them. Toni has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, focused in Strategic Planning, and is certified in College Counseling through UC San Diego Extension. She also holds certification as a Life Coach through Trinity Life Solutions, and Biblical Counseling through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Toni is married to Tommy, they have three children – Melanie, Joshua, and Matthew, and three doodle dogs – Elvis, Preslie, and Finley.

Tamara Addis began teaching at PCA in 2006 and joined the Guidance Team in 2019. Prior to coming to PCA, she served 10 years in the public school setting, started a family, and began working toward a degree in counseling. She completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology from Texas A&M University in 1990. In 2009 she received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Tamara has enjoyed her time at PCA and cannot see herself being anywhere else. She has two children, Austin, Class of 2019 and Katie, Class of 2021.

Julie joined the Guidance Office July 2017. Julie and her family have been part of the PCA family for 12 years. As Registrar, she is responsible for scheduling, grades, report cards and transcripts. Julie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, double majoring in Management Science Information Systems and Marketing. Prior to her arrival to Prestonwood Christian Academy, Julie worked for IBM in the Dallas area. Throughout her 18 years there, she worked with various teams focusing on contract negotiations, financial analysis and other special projects. Julie is married to Randy and they have five children, Chloe (Class of 2021), Laurel (class of 2023), Anabelle (class of 2023), Corbin (class of 2025) and Savannah (class of 2027).

Debbie received her A.A.S. degree at Suffolk College in 1981. She has 38 years of experience in various industries as an Executive Assistant. She is a transplant from Stony Brook, New York, located on Long Island. After serving at The Stony Brook School, in Stony Brook, NY for three years in the College Placement office, she relocated to McKinney, Texas with her husband and two children, Michael and Alexandra. This is her thirteenth year at PCA. Her expertise in all matters of college applications, Naviance tools, and serving students makes her a special asset to the Upper School Community.
