PCA maintains subscriptions to a number of resources for students to use when looking for reliable data for papers and projects. Links to each site are provided below, however, passwords are required to log in. Passwords are available from the PCA library staff as well as on NetClassroom.

World Book online
Three levels of online encyclopedia: World Book Kids for elementary students, World Book Student for older elementary and middle school students, and World Book Advanced for upper school students and adults. World Book Discover is designed for students with learning differences or language differences and features read-aloud and translation capabilities, more videos, and clear, easy-to-read articles.
A great database of databases. EBSCOhost contains a vast collection of journal articles, newspaper articles, and other reference materials. Different databases are intended for different levels of students as well as various topics. Searchasaurus and Kids Search are appropriate for younger students while Student Research Center and EBSCO Research Databases are great for older students.
The Gale Group
This is a collection of databases with full-text articles from newspapers and magazines as well as audio and video resources. There are collections designed for different ages as well as for special interests.
Global Road Warrior
A database with cultural information for countries all over the world. Full of facts and information great for reports, papers, projects, or preparation for travel.
AtoZ Maps Online
A vast collection of maps relating to all areas of geography as well as other specialized maps. Many are printable.
Geography tools, online learning games, animated timelines, National Geographic videos, and over 4,000 maps.
A university level database with articles from a wide variety of scholarly journals.
