Thriving Fine Arts Programs
PCA’s fine arts programs are strong and thriving. Talented students routinely achieve at high levels in areas of art, theatre, vocal music and instrumental music, and are consistently recognized at state and national competitions.

Gifted Instructors
An incredible faculty guides students in sharpening their skills and using their abilities in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Our teachers are gifted artists in their own right, with a passion for sharing their love of the arts with students.
Athletics
Kingdom Athletics
PCA offers a range of athletic opportunities for students in grades 7-12 and currently offers swimming for 6th grade. The Lions participate in 16 individual and team sports and have a total of 52 varsity and sub-varsity teams.

PCA students train and compete in state-of-the-art facilities including recently renovated Lion’s Stadium track & field, PCA Field House basketball court and weight training facility and Graham Field baseball diamond.

Chris Cunningham
Varsity Football Head Coach

Coach Cunningham currently coaches Varsity Football and Lacrosse for PCA. Cunningham has served as the Director of Athletics at Prestonwood Christian Academy for the past nine years and the Head Football coach for eight years. He has a variety of coaching experience in football, soccer, baseball, power lifting, and track. Prior to coming to PCA, Coach Cunningham spent 22 years teaching math and coaching football in the Grapevine – Colleyville ISD, followed by 11 years as the Athletic Coordinator and Head football coach at Colleyville Heritage High School. He has led PCA to four State Championship appearances, winning championships in 2009, 2010, 2015, and 2017. Coach Cunningham has been married to his wife Dana for 32 years and they have three boys – Caleb, who teaches geometry at PCA; Joshua, a freshman at Texas Tech, and Caden a sophmore at PCA.
