Arts
Thriving Fine Arts Programs
PCA’s fine arts programs are strong and thriving. Talented students routinely achieve at high levels in areas of art, theatre, vocal music and instrumental music, and are consistently recognized at state and national competitions.

Gifted Instructors
An incredible faculty guides students in sharpening their skills and using their abilities in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Our teachers are gifted artists in their own right, with a passion for sharing their love of the arts with students.
Athletics
Kingdom Athletics
PCA offers a range of athletic opportunities for students in grades 7-12 and currently offers swimming for 6th grade. The Lions participate in 16 individual and team sports and have a total of 52 varsity and sub-varsity teams.

PCA Athletics Complex
PCA students train and compete in state-of-the-art facilities including recently renovated Lion’s Stadium track & field, PCA Field House basketball court and weight training facility and Graham Field baseball diamond.

Coach Melody Gravett

Coach Melody Gravett has been blessed with the opportunity to teach science at PCA since the fall of 1997. She graduated from Texas A & M University with a B.S. in Science Education/Interdisciplinary Studies (major emphasis in the Life/Earth Sciences.) Mrs. Gravett has been coaching Varsity Spirit Cheer since 2018. She and her husband Todd have three sons: Austin, who just graduated from Texas Tech and is now an ICU nurse at the University Medical Center in Lubbock; Jaden (age 18) who is in 12th grade at PCA; and Dylan (age 14), who is in the 8th grade at PCA. They are members of Prestonwood Baptist Church and feel God has truly blessed their family.

Contact Coach Bellamy

Coach Alex Bellamy has been a Spirit Cheer coach at PCA since 2008 and is a 2006 alumnus of Prestonwood Christian Academy. As a student at PCA she was a cheerleader in Middle and Upper School and continued cheerleading in college at Oklahoma Baptist University. She transferred after her sophomore year to the University of North Texas to continue her education is Visual Art Studies and began coaching at PCA. Mrs. Bellamy is blessed to have been involved in all levels of Spirit Cheer at PCA over the last ten years and has loved seeing the program grow. Mrs. Bellamy and her husband Nick have three children, Cade (age 9), Stone (age 6) and Blair (age 3). They are members of Prestonwood Baptist Church and love to serve in their community.
