About

What makes PCA different?

At Prestonwood Christian Academy, faith is not separated from learning, but rather integrated intentionally, resulting in a distinctive environment and community. We cultivate intelligent Christ followers who can articulate their worldview in a marketplace full of opposing ideas and ideology!

What is our education philosophy?

Since Prestonwood Christian Academy was established in 1997 the core philosophy of PCA has been Kingdom education. Kingdom education focuses on bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation. Kingdom education is the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ. At PCA we develop a child according to his or her specific abilities given to them by God, so they feel empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust and obedience to Him.

What do we aspire to develop in our students?

Here at PCA we work to cultivate intelligent believers who can articulate their worldview in a marketplace full of opposing ideas and ideology. At PCA, students experience a culture of spiritual and scholastic excellence. This culture is encouraged, expected and modeled throughout every facet of the school's environment.

PCA provides shuttle service for families who have children on both the Plano and North campuses.

The Origins of PCA North

The vision of replicating a campus in Prosper became a reality as Prestonwood Christian Academy's North Campus first opened it's doors in August 2014. More than 50 students and 18 staff members flooded the halls of the new school in the Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus at the intersection of Prosper Trail and the Dallas North Tollway in Prosper, TX.

Come Grow With Us!

The North Campus began the 2016-2017 school year with the addition of sixth grade. More parents in Prosper and the surrounding areas are discovering that the Kingdom education at Prestonwood Christian Academy is one of the strongest in the country and that the culture is a safe, nurturing environment where students realize their God-given potential.

We now serve Pre-K3 to 6th grade and will continue to add a grade each year with plans to become Pre-K -12th grade in the future. We are currently developing the 7th and 8th grade program in the same facility.
