History of PCA North
Leaders from Prestonwood Christian Academy, Prestonwood Baptist Church and the communities of Prosper, Frisco and Allen officially opened Prestonwood Christian Academy North on June 4, 2014 with a ribbon cutting.
Dr. Larry Taylor, Former PCA Head of School/President & CEO of Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
"Behind this Ribbon Cutting is a vision of Kingdom education. We are in the midst of some of the finest public schools in the nation, but this school is about offering a faith-based education in order to influence future generations who will impact the world."
Dr. Jack Graham, Pastor, Prestonwood Baptist Church
"I believe we have and continue to build the finest Christian school in America. PCA is a positive influence on our church and community, and it is obvious that God is doing great and mighty things through her."
Congressman Sam Johnson
"A Christian education not only empowers our next generation of leaders to work hard and persevere and reach their fullest potential but live a life according to God's will. I am pleased to see PCA grow and have the opportunity to reach children and parents in more communities, including Prosper, Celina, North Frisco and McKinney."
Inaugural Principal, Donna Gilson
"I am looking forward to involving the students in the PCA North journey and giving them the opportunity to learn what it means to be leaders. They will look back and know they were a part of helping establish a campus that will provide Kingdom education for many, many years."
Mike and Tamara Daugherty
"We are so excited to be a part of PCA and thrilled they are bringing quality Kingdom education to Prosper, Texas. We have seen first-hand the high quality education PCA brought to Plano, and we are confident that same level of excellence will be here at PCA North as well."
First Middle/Upper School Principal, Greg Wright
"I am very excited to join the Prestonwood Christian Academy team that brings excellence in everything it does for the Glory of God. After retiring as the High School Principal at Prosper last June, I soon realized that I missed the daily relationships with students, staff, parents and community. God placed me on this earth to be a Principal and I have no doubt after being away for just a short time that being a Principal is my Purpose Driven Life. And, I am thrilled to be coming back to the wonderful community of Prosper which I love so much."
