Communication Arts

As benefactors of God's creative instinct, we must enter into a dialogue about culture, media and message. We must send out thoughtful and effective communicators into the world and enable them to seek truth, analyze messages from a Biblical Worldview and craft messages that point to our Creator God. The Communication Arts program seeks to inspire and prepare your students to be creators of meaningful messages and not just passive receivers of them.

WHAT IS PCA'S COMMUNICATION ARTS PROGRAM?

UNDERSTANDING THE MISSION

The Communication Arts Program exists to train students to be intentional storytellers who think critically about their message, creatively engage their audience and effectively use communication to transform the culture for Christ.

HEAR IT, THINK IT, SPEAK IT

Studies in Communication Arts aims to develop: Competent Kingdom Listeners, Confident Kingdom Thinkers and Compelling Kingdom Storytellers.

WHY COMMUNICATION ARTS?

Each of us has a unique story inspired by the greatest of all storytellers--God. Based on this truth, curriculum and faculty aim to inspire and train students how to use various mediums of communication to transform the culture even beyond the primary education experience.

"Enabling our students to create stories they're passionate about that also reflect our Creator's message never gets old."

Let your speech be always filled with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you will know how to answer everyone.
