An environment of community is a top priority at PCAplus.
We began Homework Café to provide another layer of academic support and to offer our online students a level of community interaction.
The Middle School Academic Honor Club was also created as an opportunity for middle school students who excel academically to participate in leadership and service, mirroring our Upper School National Honor Society.
Other ways we are working to build community and servant leadership are our social events, such as our winter Ice Cream Social that supports the Prestonwood Christmas Store.
Additional ways we worked on establishing community and a sense of school pride are: PCAplus Facebook page where we highlight student achievements (please keep those coming), our bi-annual Newsletter Lion Tales, our PCAplus Prayer Chain and Campus Highlights in the PCA publication, Lions Pride This year through our prayer chain PCAplus families went to the Lord in prayer for health issues and job opportunities among other requests.
As an affiliate of Prestonwood Christian Academy we have access to excellent resources and make those resources available to you. These resources include the Biblical Worldview Institute, Kingdom Parenting Institute, Summers at Prestonwood and Parent Resources.
